Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd., the electric mobility division of the Kinetic Group, has established retail financing arrangements with three financial services providers to support sales of its DX electric scooter range.

The Pune-based company announced partnerships with Hero FinCorp Ltd., Bajaj Finserv Ltd., and fintech platform CleverPe on Sunday. The arrangements will provide customers with traditional installment-based lending as well as digital payment options at authorized dealerships across India.

The financing options are being rolled out as Kinetic Watts & Volts expands its market presence in a phased manner. The company positions the financing partnerships as essential infrastructure to support its broader expansion strategy.

"Access to convenient and trusted financing is fundamental to accelerating electric mobility adoption in India," said Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic Watts & Volts Ltd. He noted that the partnerships offer customers "flexibility, choice and confidence" while supporting the company's market-by-market opening strategy.

The financing ecosystem combines the scale and reach of established financial institutions with CleverPe's digital-first approach. Customers can access tailored finance options directly at Kinetic EV showrooms, with the company citing reduced upfront costs and simplified documentation as key benefits.

The Kinetic DX range represents an electric reimagining of one of India's established scooter brands. The vehicles feature Range-X LFP battery architecture and are designed for daily urban use while maintaining design elements from the original Kinetic scooters.

Kinetic Watts & Volts was established in September 2022 as the dedicated EV manufacturing subsidiary of Kinetic Engineering Limited. The company operates an 87,000 square foot manufacturing facility.

Parent company Kinetic Engineering Limited has been involved in India's automotive manufacturing sector for over 50 years and supplies components to major OEMs including Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland. The company is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange under the code BSE: 500240.
