Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini Partners with Surge Systems for Luxury Electric Golf Carts

Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini (KGTL) has announced the appointment of Surge Systems Pvt Ltd as the authorized distributor for its electric luxury golf and lifestyle carts in India. The announcement was made on November 3, 2025, from the company's base in Pune.

The partnership brings together KGTL's luxury electric vehicles with Surge Systems' established presence in the professional turf maintenance sector. Surge Systems currently serves as a leading partner for Toro, the global turf care equipment manufacturer, and maintains relationships with golf courses, sports facilities, resorts, and premium landscapes across North and Eastern India.

KGTL offers two product lines: the Genesis Range and the Prestige Range. Both feature smart TFT dashboards, electronic parking brakes, wireless mobile charging, and LED headlights. The carts represent a collaboration between Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Ltd of India and Tonino Lamborghini SpA of Italy.

Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, described the products as "a symphony of Italian design and Indian engineering" that embodies the Make In India initiative. She expressed confidence in Surge Systems' credibility, after-sales service capabilities, and network reach.

Ferruccio Lamborghini, Vice President of Tonino Lamborghini SpA, characterized the collaboration as "a bridge between two entrepreneurial cultures." He emphasized that India was chosen not only as a production base but as a symbol of growth and global ambition.

Antony Bijoy, CEO of Surge Systems, stated that representing the electric luxury golf carts aligns with the company's commitment to performance, reliability, and service excellence.

KGTL has set ambitious targets, aiming for annual revenue of INR 2,500 crores over five years while capturing 10% of the global golf cart market. The vehicles were globally launched on July 17, 2025, and will be marketed worldwide under the Tonino Lamborghini brand.

Kinetic Green recently secured $25 million in Series A funding from UK-based Greater Pacific Capital to support its expansion plans. Tonino Lamborghini, established in 1981, has expanded from fashion accessories into hospitality, real estate, and luxury goods sectors.
