Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, a prominent manufacturer of electric two- and three-wheelers in India, has announced a partnership with JioThings, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms Limited and part of the Reliance Group. The collaboration aims to improve the user experience of Kinetic Green’s electric vehicle (EV) offerings by integrating advanced connectivity and analytics solutions.

As part of this collaboration, Kinetic Green will introduce a Smart TFT-based digital display platform for its electric two-wheeler (E2W) models. The platform will provide essential features such as real-time navigation, notifications for incoming calls, and information on nearby charging stations, all intended to enhance the convenience and efficiency of the rider’s journey. This new technology is designed to offer riders access to crucial information, whether they are navigating urban roads or planning longer trips.

The platform will also include Bluetooth and telematics-enabled features that allow users to manage vehicle functions through their smartphones. Key information such as navigation, speed, battery charge status, and distance to empty will be accessible directly from the user’s device, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. The solution will be supported by Jio’s hardware and 4G connectivity, ensuring seamless integration.

This collaboration is part of Kinetic Green’s broader efforts to incorporate smart vehicle technology, focusing on improving usability, safety, and connectivity for EV users.

Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Co-Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, commented, “Our partnership with JioThings reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation in electric vehicle technology and sustainability. Through this collaboration, we aim to deliver advanced software platforms that improve the overall user experience for EV riders, offering smarter and more connected solutions.”

Ashish Lodha, President of Jio Platforms Limited, added, “We are excited to work with Kinetic Green to advance sustainable mobility solutions in India. This partnership underscores our shared vision of promoting electric mobility and contributing to a more sustainable future.”

Both companies are focused on advancing the development of connected and efficient electric vehicle technologies, contributing to the broader goal of sustainable transportation in India.
