Kinetic Green Partners with Infosys to Develop Autonomous Golf Carts for Global Markets

Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions has entered into a partnership with Infosys to co-develop an autonomous golf cart platform. The collaboration is part of Kinetic Green’s plan to expand into the $5 billion global golf cart market through its joint venture with Italian lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini.

According to the company, demand for golf carts is growing across multiple use cases—beyond traditional golf courses—to include resorts, airports, gated communities, and corporate campuses. The market is estimated to be growing at 7–9% CAGR. Kinetic Green aims to position its products as an alternative to incumbents such as Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha.

The upcoming carts are built on a new platform featuring McPherson suspensions, hydraulic brakes, universal drive systems, and a connected digital display developed in collaboration with Jio. Kinetic Green is also exploring wireless charging solutions through U.S.-based partner Vitricity and working with Luso Design for vehicle customization.

Infosys Collaboration for Autonomous Systems

As part of its technology roadmap, Kinetic Green has signed an MoU with Infosys to integrate autonomous driving capabilities into its vehicles. Infosys is developing the software platform, and over the next year, both companies will work on adapting Kinetic’s golf carts to be autonomous-ready. These vehicles are intended for use in controlled environments such as resorts, airports, campuses, and residential townships.

“This partnership with Infosys will enable us to offer driverless shuttle solutions,” said Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green. “We expect to begin pilot deployments next year, starting with the UAE.”

Kinetic Green, which currently operates in the electric two- and three-wheeler segments, is diversifying into light electric four-wheelers. Its joint venture—Kinetic Green Tonino Lamborghini (KGTL)—has been established to manufacture and export golf and lifestyle carts globally.

The KGTL joint venture operates from a new facility in Supa, Maharashtra, which also includes an experience centre and a training academy. Initial investment in the project is estimated at $4–5 million, with plans to raise an additional $10 million from Indian family offices. The JV plans to enter 25 global markets within three years, starting with India, the UAE, and the Maldives.

Kinetic Green has set a target of achieving $300 million in revenue from this business in five years, with a long-term goal of reaching $1 billion over the next decade.
