Kinetic Green Appoints Sudhanshu Agrawal to Lead Global Expansion
Indian electric vehicle manufacturer strengthens leadership team as it targets international markets and mobility solutions segment, following recent funding round to support growth strategy.
Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited has appointed Sudhanshu Agrawal as President of Mobility and International Business, the company announced today. Agrawal will oversee the company's expansion into global markets and development of last-mile mobility solutions.
Agrawal brings over two decades of automotive industry experience to Kinetic Green. He previously served as Chief Business Officer at V Trade Wings Pvt. Ltd. and held executive positions at Piaggio Vehicles, where he led electric vehicle operations and international business development.
Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, said the appointment comes at a "transformative phase" for the company. Agrawal will work with Co-Founder Ritesh Mantri to expand the company's presence across mobility sectors and international markets.
Kinetic Green plans to focus on South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America for its international expansion. The company manufactures electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers at its facility near Pune, Maharashtra.
The company recently launched E-Luna, an electric version of the Kinetic Group's Luna brand, targeting both personal mobility and e-commerce delivery markets. The appointment aligns with Kinetic Green's strategy to capitalize on growing demand for electric vehicles in last-mile logistics and quick-commerce delivery sectors.
Kinetic Green secured $25 million in Series A funding from UK-based Greater Pacific Capital and is raising an additional $30 million to support growth plans. The company was the first to develop ARAI-approved electric three-wheelers in India and the first to offer lithium-ion battery technology in electric three-wheelers in the country.
Founded by Motwani, a third-generation member of the Firodia family, Kinetic Green builds on the Kinetic Group's engineering experience of over 50 years. The company also operates a joint venture with Tonino Lamborghini of Italy for electric golf carts and buggies.
