Kia India dealer partner Incheon Kia has delivered 150 units of the Syros EV in a single day in Kochi, setting a national record for the highest number of electric vehicles of a single model delivered by a dealership in one day.
The deliveries took place on August 17 in Kochi, coinciding with the Malayalam New Year, and marked the first batch of Syros EV deliveries by the dealership. The delivery event was certified by the India Book of Records.
The 150 vehicles were handed over to customers as part of a large-scale delivery event. Following the ceremony, the vehicles were individually flagged off by senior Kia India executives, including MD and CEO Gwanggu Lee.
Kia Syros EV bookings cross 650 in Kochi
Incheon Kia said it has received more than 650 bookings for the Syros EV, with the first 150 vehicles now delivered. The dealership said the delivery milestone provides an early indication of demand for the electric model in the Kochi market.
Incheon Kia targets 10,000 vehicle sales in 2026
Incheon Kia, which began operations seven years ago, is approaching 50,000 cumulative vehicle sales and expects to sell around 10,000 vehicles during 2026.
The record delivery comes as Kia expands its electric vehicle portfolio in India and seeks to build sales for the Syros EV through its dealer network.
