Kia India Teases All-New Seltos Ahead of December Launch
Automaker reveals first glimpse of redesigned mid-SUV with bolder styling and premium features before world premiere.
Kia India has released the first teaser images of its redesigned Seltos mid-SUV, offering a preview of the vehicle ahead of its official world premiere scheduled for December 10, 2025.
The teaser reveals a significant design overhaul for the popular model, which first launched in India in 2019. According to the company, the all-new Seltos features sharper lines, a more muscular stance, and updated proportions that aim to elevate its premium appeal in the competitive mid-SUV segment.
The redesigned vehicle incorporates Kia's "Opposites United" design philosophy, blending traditional SUV styling with modern, technology-focused elements. Notable design changes include the new Kia Digital Tiger Face grille at the front, signature Star Map lighting at both ends, and flush door handles that add to the vehicle's contemporary aesthetic.
Gwanggu Lee, Managing Director and CEO of Kia India, stated that the redesign represents a significant evolution of the brand's best-selling model. He emphasized that every aspect of the new Seltos has been developed with Indian customer preferences in mind, from design to technology and performance capabilities.
The Seltos has been a cornerstone of Kia's success in India since its introduction. The automaker has established a strong presence in the country with a manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh that has an annual production capacity of 300,000 units. To date, Kia India has dispatched approximately 1.5 million vehicles, including over 1.2 million domestic sales and more than 367,000 exports.
The company currently operates a network of 819 touchpoints across 370 cities in India and offers a portfolio that includes nine models ranging from compact SUVs to electric vehicles.
The all-new Seltos will be officially unveiled during a live-streamed event on Kia India's YouTube channel on December 10, 2025.
