Kia India Signs MoU with Avis Leasing for Lease Program

Kia India signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Avis Leasing on Tuesday to strengthen its presence in India's leasing and subscription market. The partnership, announced in New Delhi, is part of Kia's Lease Program aimed at offering flexible mobility solutions to customers seeking alternatives to vehicle ownership. This marks Kia India's third leasing alliance following earlier agreements with Orix India and Ayvens India.

The collaboration will enable customers to lease Kia vehicles without down payments for tenures ranging from 36 to 60 months with multiple mileage options. The leasing package includes maintenance, insurance renewal, and resale coverage. Customers can return the vehicle or upgrade to a new Kia model at the end of the lease period.

Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India said, "At Kia India, we recognize the Leasing and Subscription space emerging as an important growth driver in the Indian Auto industry. Our partnership with Avis Leasing reflects our efforts towards strengthening Kia Lease as a scalable platform that addresses evolving customer needs while creating incremental demand beyond traditional ownership. Through such collaborations, we aim to build a strong, sustainable mobility business aligned with our long-term growth strategy in India."

Aman Naagar, Managing Director, Avis India said, "We are pleased to partner with Kia India on a collaboration that reflects a shared commitment to redefining corporate mobility in India. By combining Kia's future-ready product portfolio with AVIS India's pan-India leasing and fleet management platform, we enable organisations to access scalable, flexible, and efficient mobility solutions aligned with their long-term business objectives. This partnership brings together two organisations with complementary strengths: Kia's strong product innovation and AVIS India's nationwide leasing and fleet management capabilities to build a modern mobility ecosystem that supports the evolving needs of corporate customers across India."

Kia India launched its Lease Program in 2024 to provide leasing and subscription services aligned with changing ownership preferences. The company has an installed annual production capacity of 300,000 units at its Anantapur facility and has completed 1.5 million vehicle dispatches, including over 1.2 million domestic sales and over 367,000 exports.

Avis India provides chauffeur-driven car rental and mobility solutions across major Indian cities, offering a fleet ranging from economy sedans to luxury vehicles.
