Kia India dispatched 32,017 units in September 2026, up 41% from 22,700 units in September 2025. The September volume was the company’s highest-ever monthly wholesale volume since entering the Indian market. It also follows 29,042 units dispatched in August 2026, which was itself a 48.1% year-on-year increase.
The company’s cumulative sales for January-September 2026 stood at 253,008 units, up 22.5% from 206,582 units in the corresponding period last year. Kia India’s Q3 2026 sales reached 89,259 units, compared with 64,443 units in Q3 2025, representing 38.5% growth.
The September figure was also 2,975 units higher than August, when Kia India dispatched 29,042 units. August year-to-date wholesale stood at 220,991 units, compared with 183,882 units in the same period in 2025, representing 20.1% growth.
The Seltos and Sonet continued to account for a significant share of Kia India’s volumes. The company said the Seltos has averaged more than 10,000 units a month since its launch in January, while the Sonet continues to operate in the sub-compact SUV segment. The Carens, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV add to the company’s range across internal-combustion and electric powertrains.
Kia India Expands EV And Multi-Powertrain Portfolio
The Syros EV has added another electric model to Kia India’s portfolio and, according to the company, is gaining demand. Kia’s current EV range also includes the Carens Clavis EV, EV6 and EV9.
The newly launched Sorento is offered in India with diesel and hybrid powertrain options. Kia has also introduced CNG versions of the Carens and Carens Clavis, giving its portfolio petrol, diesel, CNG, hybrid and electric powertrain options.
For its EV range, Kia India offers an Assured Buyback programme, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and a Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty. The company says these programmes are intended to address acquisition cost, battery assurance and resale value considerations.
