Kia India registered a 16 percent year on year increase in wholesale volumes for April 2026, dispatching 27,286 units to dealers. This marks the automaker's highest sales figure for the month of April since it began operations in the country, up from the 23,623 units sold in April 2025.

On a year to date basis, the company reported sales of 1,11,611 units, which represents a 13 percent growth compared to the 99,199 units recorded during the same period in the previous year. The automaker has also reached a cumulative domestic sales milestone of 15 lakh units over its seven years of operation in India, alongside more than 3.67 lakh exported vehicles. Kia India currently maintains an annual production capacity of 3 lakh units at its Anantapur manufacturing facility.

The sales performance in April was primarily driven by the Seltos and Sonet utility vehicles, with both models individually surpassing the 10,000 unit mark for the month. Historically, the Seltos accounts for over 41 percent of the brand's total domestic sales, followed by the Sonet at 36 percent and the Carens at 20 percent. Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, stated that the April performance builds on the steady growth observed over recent months. "This momentum is being led by the new Kia Seltos, with Sonet and Carens along with Clavis continuing to strengthen our presence across key segments," Sood noted.

Kia India's retail footprint currently spans 891 touchpoints across 396 cities, complemented by 128 certified pre owned outlets.
