Kia India Launches Digital Passport on Kia Connect App
Kia India has introduced Digital Passport, a subscription-based digital feature on its Kia Connect app that consolidates vehicle health, service history, and warranty data into a single verified report, available at ₹399 for three months.
Kia India announced on April 24, 2026, the launch of Digital Passport, a new feature on its Kia Connect app designed to give vehicle owners a consolidated, data-backed view of their car's condition and history. The service is accessible under the "New Services" tab on the app and is priced at ₹399 plus applicable taxes for a three-month subscription.
The feature addresses what the company describes as a longstanding challenge of vehicle data being scattered across multiple platforms. Digital Passport brings together service history, accident and repair records, driving insights, warranty status, and an overall vehicle health score into a single verified report.
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Atul Sood, stated that the initiative is aimed at enhancing transparency and reinforcing customer confidence through technology-led solutions during the ownership journey.
Beyond active ownership, the company positions Digital Passport as a tool to support vehicle resale, giving potential buyers access to a transparent, verified account of the vehicle's condition and maintenance record.
The feature is part of Kia India's broader Kia Connect ecosystem, which the company says now covers more than five lakh connected cars on Indian roads. Kia India currently operates a network of 862 touchpoints across 390 cities and has recorded over 1.2 million domestic vehicle sales since commencing production at its Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh facility in 2019.
