Kia India Introduces New Seltos Trims to Expand Mid-SUV Lineup

Kia India has expanded its mid-size sport utility vehicle portfolio by introducing the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) variants to the Seltos lineup. Pricing for the newly added high-specification trims starts at 21.57 lakh rupees. The introductions expand the baseline Seltos portfolio, which starts at an entry point of 10.99 lakh rupees ex-showroom.

The primary addition to the GTX(O) and X-Line(O) trims is a modified suite of driver assistance features categorized under the ADAS F+ designation. Notable functions integrated into the electronic software layout include junction crossing, oncoming lane change, and side lane change variations of Front Collision-Avoidance Assist, alongside evasive steering assist mechanisms and navigation-linked adaptive cruise control for zones and curves.

Inside the cabin, the revised trims incorporate updated software architectures built around the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit and the Kia Connect 2.0 system, which offers over 85 connected features. Additional equipment changes include a windshield-projecting head-up display, digital key compatibility, a built-in front and rear dashcam controllable via a smartphone application, rain-sensing wipers, and voice-activated cabin controls localized to select regional languages. The powertrain options remain unchanged, with the new variants continuing to utilize the existing turbo petrol and diesel engines mounted on the K3 vehicle architecture.

According to Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Kia India, the additions are intended to compile the vehicle's top-tier safety, technology, and convenience features into unified product offerings.
