Kia India Introduces Feature-Rich HTE(EX) Trim for Carens Clavis ICE Lineup
Kia India expands its Carens Clavis ICE range with the new HTE(EX) trim, introducing electric sunroof in G1.5 petrol variant and enhanced comfort features across all powertrains.
Kia India has announced the launch of a new HTE(EX) trim for its Carens Clavis ICE lineup, marking a significant expansion of the model's variant offerings. The new trim is available across all petrol and diesel powertrains in a 7-seater configuration.
The HTE(EX) variant is priced at Rs. 12,54,900 (ex-showroom) for the G1.5 petrol, Rs. 13,41,900 (ex-showroom) for the G1.5 turbo-petrol, and Rs. 14,52,900 (ex-showroom) for the D1.5 diesel powertrain.
A notable addition is the introduction of a sky light electric sunroof in the G1.5 petrol variant of Carens Clavis for the first time. This feature aims to enhance cabin openness and add a premium touch to the vehicle.
The HTE(EX) trim, positioned above the existing HTE(O) variant, includes several comfort and convenience features. These comprise fully automatic temperature control (FATC), LED daytime running lamps and position lamps, LED cabin lamps, and an auto up/down power window on the driver's side.
According to Atul Sood, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Kia India, the new trim reflects the company's response to customer feedback and market preferences. The variant is designed to offer enhanced features while maintaining competitive pricing in the segment.
The launch represents Kia India's strategy to provide feature-rich options across different price points, making premium features accessible to a broader customer base. The HTE(EX) trim is now available at Kia dealerships across India.
