Kia India Extends Warranty Coverage to 7 Years for Select Models
Kia upgrades extended warranty program from 5 to 7 years for both new and existing customers across multiple vehicle models.
Kia India has announced an expansion of its Extended Warranty program, extending coverage from 5 years to up to 7 years for both new and existing customers. The enhanced warranty is available for four of the company's popular models: the Seltos, Sonet, Syros, and Carens.
For existing customers who currently hold a 5-year extended warranty, an upgrade option is available through a 5+2-year coverage plan starting at INR 32,170 (excluding taxes).
New customers can opt for the full 7-year extended warranty at INR 47,249 (excluding taxes). The warranty can be availed at any authorized Kia dealership across the country.
According to Atul Sood, Senior VP of Sales & Marketing at Kia India, the initiative reflects the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. "By extending our warranty coverage up to 7 years for both new and existing customers, we reaffirm our confidence in the durability and quality of our vehicles while providing continued support through our authorized service network," Sood stated.
The company noted that the extended warranty program is designed to provide customers with long-term peace of mind regarding maintenance costs and future resale value. The enhancement forms part of Kia India's broader strategy to deliver comprehensive ownership experiences and strengthen customer loyalty.
Kia India operates a manufacturing facility in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
The company has dispatched nearly 1.5 million vehicles domestically and internationally since commencing mass production in August 2019. The brand currently maintains a network of 744 touchpoints across 329 cities in India.
