MG's Windsor EV maintains market leadership position for seventh consecutive month, contributing to the company's strong performance in the electric vehicle segment.
JSW MG Motor India recorded sales of 5,829 vehicles in April 2025, marking a 23% increase compared to the 4,725 units sold in April 2024, according to the company's latest monthly report.
The Windsor EV continues to drive this growth, maintaining its position as India's best-selling electric vehicle for seven consecutive months since its launch. The model has attracted over 20,000 customers and received more than 30 industry awards for its design, performance, and value proposition.
JSW MG Motor India has emerged as the country's leading electric vehicle brand, capitalizing on increasing consumer interest in sustainable transportation options. The company's performance comes amid a broader transformation in India's automotive sector, which is gradually shifting toward electrification. Industry analysts have noted that JSW MG's strategic focus on electric vehicles has helped it capture market share in a competitive landscape.
JSW MG Motor India operates as a joint venture between China's SAIC Motor and India's JSW Group, combining global automotive expertise with local manufacturing capabilities. The partnership has enabled the company to offer competitively priced electric vehicles tailored to Indian market conditions.
