JSW MG Motor India reported a 19 percent year-on-year growth in calendar year 2025, selling 70,554 units during the January to December period compared to the previous year. The company registered 6,500 wholesale units in December 2025, reflecting demand across its internal combustion engine and electric vehicle portfolios.

The carmaker crossed a significant milestone during the year, surpassing 100,000 cumulative electric vehicle sales since it began operations. The MG Windsor retained its position as India's best-selling passenger electric vehicle throughout 2025.

MG SELECT, the company's luxury retail channel launched less than a year ago, witnessed 38 percent month-on-month wholesale growth in December. The channel now operates 15 experience centers across 14 major cities and holds the second position in India's luxury electric vehicle segment. Sales have been driven by the M9 Presidential Limousine and the Cyberster sports car.

The company launched the new MG Hector in December at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹11.99 lakh. It also introduced an extended assured buy-back program for electric vehicles, allowing owners to receive a guaranteed resale value after three, four, or five years depending on their selected plan.

JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture between SAIC Motor, a Fortune 500 company, and JSW Group, formed in 2023. The partnership operates a manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity exceeding 100,000 vehicles.

The company's product portfolio includes the Hector, ZS EV, Gloster, Astor, Comet, and Windsor, marketed under the Morris Garages brand that was founded in the United Kingdom in 1924.
