JSW MG Motor India Launches Weekend 'Midnight Carnival' Campaign for Hector SUV
Automaker extends showroom hours and offers London trip prize for buyers as part of limited-time promotion with additional warranty and service benefits.
JSW MG Motor India has announced a new marketing initiative called 'Midnight Carnival' for its Hector SUV, featuring extended showroom hours until midnight on weekends and the chance for 20 purchasers to win trips to London.
The limited-time campaign includes benefits valued up to INR 4 lakhs, with new buyers receiving an extended warranty of 2 years or 1 lakh kilometers in addition to the standard 3-year warranty. The promotion also provides two extra years of roadside assistance and 50% RTO cost benefits, according to a company statement released Tuesday.
"The MG Hector has always been the model of choice for SUV lovers in India, and our Midnight Carnival is a unique celebration of that legacy," said Rakesh Sen, Head of Sales at JSW MG Motor India.
First introduced in 2019 as what the company termed "India's first Internet SUV," the Hector continues to be a flagship model for the brand. The vehicle features a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 14-inch infotainment system, connected car capabilities, and advanced driver assistance systems.
JSW MG Motor India was formed in 2023 as a joint venture between China's SAIC Motor and India's JSW Group. The partnership aims to develop vehicles with advanced technologies while contributing to India's manufacturing sector through localization efforts.
Morris Garages, founded in the UK in 1924, was originally known for sports cars favored by British elites including prime ministers and royalty. The brand's manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat currently has an annual production capacity exceeding 100,000 vehicles and employs approximately 6,000 people directly and indirectly.
Since entering the Indian market, MG has introduced several models including the Hector, the ZS EV electric vehicle, the Gloster premium SUV, the Astor with AI assistant features, the Comet urban electric vehicle, and the Windsor.
