JSW MG Motor India Launches "Power Pack" Offer for Hector SUV Buyers
New program combines financing incentives, warranty extensions, and tax benefits through March 2025, potentially providing up to INR 2.40 lakhs in total customer savings.
JSW MG Motor India has launched a new "Power Pack" scheme for customers interested in purchasing the MG Hector SUV. The program combines multiple financial and service benefits designed to enhance the vehicle's value proposition in the competitive SUV market.
The Power Pack offer includes a 4.99% interest rate on financing, a 50% reduction in road tax, extended warranty coverage, complimentary roadside assistance, and additional vehicle accessories at no extra cost. According to the company, these combined benefits could result in savings of up to INR 2.40 lakhs for buyers.
"The Power Pack is a value-packed offering that combines five compelling benefits: an attractive 4.99% interest rate on financing (ROI), extended warranty for added protection, complementary accessories to personalise the vehicle, roadside assistance for uninterrupted journeys, and a 50% reduction in Road Tax (RTO)," the company stated in its announcement.
The limited-time promotion will be available until March 31, 2025. With this offer, JSW MG Motor India aims to strengthen the Hector's market position and provide a pathway for consumers looking to upgrade from sedans or smaller SUVs.
Industry analysis appears to support the company's focus on the Hector's value retention. A recent study by automotive marketplace Droom indicates that the MG Hector maintains 70-75% of its value, outperforming several competitors in the segment. The study also notes the vehicle's maintenance costs average approximately INR 500 per month.
Introduced in 2019 as "India's first Internet SUV," the Hector offers features including a 14-inch infotainment display, connected car technology, panoramic sunroof, and advanced driver assistance systems. The vehicle achieves fuel efficiency ratings of up to 21 kilometers per liter on highways, according to Droom's analysis.
The MG Hector with the Power Pack offer is available in multiple seating configurations (5, 6, and 7 seats) with pricing starting at Rs 13.99 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom).
