JSW MG Motor India celebrates festive season with over 100 EV deliveries in Delhi-NCR

JSW MG Motor India announced the delivery of over 100 electric vehicles (EVs) in a single day across the Delhi-NCR region. The company promotes adoption of electric vehicles by delivering units of the MG Windsor, the MG ZS EV, and the MG Comet. This delivery reflects the increasing interest among car buyers in MG's electric vehicle offerings.

The MG Windsor recently achieved the milestone of 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of its announcement. It combines the comfort of a sedan with the spaciousness of an SUV and features an aerodynamic design, roomy interiors, safety features, smart connectivity, and a range of 332 km.

The MG Comet, described as Big Inside and Compact Outside (BICO), includes over 55 connected features and i-SMART technology. Its practical design, along with a small turning radius, enhances manoeuvrability in tight spaces, making it suitable for city driving. The MG ZS EV is equipped with premium features, spacious interiors, i-SMART technology, and over 75 connected car features, offering a range of 461 km for long-distance family drives.

JSW MG Motor India has introduced a unique EV ownership plan called Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS). This program allows customers to avoid the upfront cost of the battery, enabling them to pay only for usage. The subscription model significantly lowers the per-kilometre expense, reducing the initial acquisition cost and providing an economical ownership experience across MG’s EV portfolio.

Under the BaaS program, the MG Windsor is available at INR 9.99 lakh plus a battery rental fee of ₹3.5 per km. The MG Comet EV starts at ₹4.99 lakh with a battery rental of ₹2.5 per km, while the MG ZS EV is offered at ₹13.99 lakh with a battery rental of ₹4.5 per km.

JSW MG Motor has also launched several initiatives, including the eHUB by MG app. The app, with over 22,000 downloads, integrates with more than 28 leading charge-point operators, covering around 80 percent of the country’s charging network. This enables EV owners to locate chargers, reserve spots, start charging, and make payments through a single platform. Users have planned over 40,000 trips and have collectively covered approximately 25 million kilometers, highlighting the app's contribution to promoting green mobility in India.
