Jidoka Technologies among the winners of Maruti Suzuki MAIL Program Cohort 7
The program provides a unified platform for tech startups with digital innovations to showcase their potential within the startup ecosystem.
Jidoka Technologies, a prominent player in automated cognitive inspection for the manufacturing sector, has revealed its selection as one of the five winners in Cohort 7 of the Maruti Suzuki MAIL (Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab) Program for startups. The program, focused on fostering innovation in the mobility and automobile industry, recently concluded its latest edition.
Maruti Suzuki, India's leading automobile brand, is driving the initiative known as MAIL in collaboration with GHV Accelerator, a prominent Indo-Japanese seed fund and co-creation center. The goal of MAIL is to discover technology-driven, customer-oriented, and innovative digital solutions in the mobility and automobile industry. By leveraging technology-based innovations, Maruti Suzuki's MAIL program aims to transform creative ideas into practical and disruptive solutions, thereby democratizing technology-based innovation. Since its inception in 2019, the program has actively nurtured innovation in the mobility and automobile sectors. To date, MAIL has engaged with 42 startups across 7 cohorts, facilitating 22 proof-of-concepts (POCs), and partnering with 10 startups to foster their growth. The program provides a unified platform for tech startups with digital innovations to showcase their potential within the startup ecosystem, while offering the necessary support and guidance to accelerate their development.
Commenting on the achievement, Sekar Udayamurthy, CEO and Co-founder, of Jidoka Technologies, said, “While we continue to work with component manufacturers and assemblers, we are now working with India’s largest OEM as well.
