Jeep India Launches Trail Editions of Compass and Meridian SUVs
Factory-fitted special editions feature design enhancements and new "Jeep Trust" ownership program with extended warranty and maintenance benefits.
Jeep India announced the launch of Trail Editions for its Compass and Meridian SUVs on July 16, 2025, with sales beginning July 15. The special editions incorporate design modifications and come with a new ownership program called "Jeep Trust" that provides extended warranty coverage and maintenance contracts.
The Trail Editions are based on the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) variants. Both models feature Trail Edition decals, black upholstery with red accents, and specific badging. The Compass Trail Edition includes matte black grille elements, neutral grey exterior components, and 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Interior modifications include black leatherette seats with red stitching and camouflage graphics.
The Meridian Trail Edition features a black roof, neutral grey grille accents, and piano black exterior elements. The interior includes black vinyl upholstery with red accents, camouflage-themed elements, and a piano black center console.
Jeep India introduced the "Jeep Trust" program alongside these editions. Compass Trail Edition buyers receive a three-year Annual Maintenance Contract, five-year extended warranty, and ₹20,000 cash benefit. Meridian Trail Edition purchasers get a three-year maintenance contract included in the purchase price.
Pricing for the Trail Editions ranges from ₹2,541,000 for the Compass Trail MT to ₹3,727,000 for the Meridian Trail AT 4X4. The vehicles are available in both manual and automatic transmissions, with the Meridian also offering a 4X4 variant.
Kumar Priyesh, Business Head and Director of Automotive Brands at Stellantis India, stated the editions reflect Jeep's values of freedom, adventure, and authenticity while providing a differentiated ownership experience.
The Trail Editions will be available for a limited time across Jeep dealerships in India. Jeep's current Indian lineup includes the Wrangler, Compass, Meridian, and Grand Cherokee models. India serves as the first country outside North America where Jeep manufactures four models locally, with production also supporting exports to other right-hand drive markets.
