JCBL South, a heavy fabrication and engineered manufacturing company based in Oragadam, has manufactured and delivered 1,000 20-foot CSC Certified Containers to GE Vernova, the US-headquartered energy multinational. The consignment, developed entirely for export to the United States, represents one of the company's largest international clean energy infrastructure orders to date.

The containers were produced for GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business and are designed to house Flex Inverter systems used in Hybrid Renewable Power Station, a segment of GE Vernova's renewable energy infrastructure portfolio.

The entire project was executed at JCBL South's Oragadam facility, encompassing design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing, and dispatch. To meet the volume and quality requirements of the order, the company established a dedicated production line and invested in workforce development, with teams undergoing specialised training in sealant and paint operations to ensure consistency across all units. Production planning efficiencies were also improved over the course of the project, with rework levels reduced significantly.

Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director of JCBL Group, said the order reflects growing international confidence in India as a manufacturing base for clean energy infrastructure. Sandip Chakroborty, Managing Director of JCBL South, noted that the project required the company to build new capabilities while simultaneously executing at scale — developing dedicated systems and stabilising processes under demanding standards and timelines.

The delivery comes as India continues to expand its renewable energy capacity. For JCBL South, the project adds to its credentials as a manufacturing partner for global clean energy infrastructure, while signalling the broader JCBL Group's intent to participate in India's ongoing energy transition.
