Jaya Hind Industries has announced a phased investment of Rs 600 crore over the next two years to expand its manufacturing capabilities and capacity across high-pressure die casting (HPDC) and gravity die casting (GDC).
The company said the investment will be deployed between FY2026-27 and FY2027-28 across its manufacturing locations in Akurdi and Urse in Pune, Maharashtra, and Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The plan includes an additional investment of Rs 400 crore following its earlier announcement of Rs 200 crore for the expansion of its Chennai facility.
As part of the expansion, Jaya Hind Industries plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in Chennai and install more than 12 HPDC machines with capacities ranging from 1,200 tonnes to 3,500 tonnes. The company will also increase its precision machining capacity and expand in-house processes including heat treatment, impregnation and powder coating.

The company said a dedicated powder coating facility will be added as part of the investment, covering surface finishing and corrosion-resistance requirements alongside other manufacturing processes.
Jaya Hind Industries currently operates more than 45 HPDC machines ranging from 160 tonnes to 4,400 tonnes, with more than 25 machines rated at 1,000 tonnes and above. Its manufacturing footprint includes facilities in Akurdi and Urse in Maharashtra, Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh.
Jaya Hind Industries' Automotive Customer Base
The company supplies aluminium die-cast components to automotive and non-automotive customers, with its stated customer base including BMW, Skoda Volkswagen, Cummins, Ford, Stellantis, Daimler, Volvo, Renault Nissan, Maruti Suzuki, Isuzu, Mahindra, Tata Motors and Bosch.

Jaya Hind Acquires LMG Manufacturing in Germany
The company has also expanded its international manufacturing presence through the acquisition of LMG Manufacturing GmbH in Germany. The acquisition includes two manufacturing facilities in East Germany and a tooling and engineering business in Nuremberg, with the German operations producing electromobility components for customers including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Nidec and Webasto.
