Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles partners with DUPR India masters to Foster Pickleball Community

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced its partnership with the DUPR India Masters Pickleball Tournament, a key event in Delhi’s sporting calendar and an important stop on the Pickleball World Rankings.

Similar to motorcycling, which fosters connections among riders through a shared interest in community and adventure, pickleball brings together players of varying ages and skill levels, creating bonds that extend beyond the game. This partnership aligns with the company's goal of supporting India’s emerging subcultures and uniting communities around shared interests.

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has a history of supporting various subcultures in India, including its involvement with the International Surfing Festival and the Covelong Classic, which promote the spirit of surfing in the country. Additionally, the company partnered with All You Can Street, India’s first large-scale festival celebrating fashion, sneakers, music, and street art, bringing together creative individuals from different industries.

In the music sector, their collaboration with Mahindra has included support for the iRock and Mahindra Blues Festival in Mumbai, which showcases independent music in India.

The Delhi tournament, organized by DUPR and held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, attracts participants from around the world, welcoming pickleball players of all levels. As part of this partnership, members of Jawa Yezdi’s Kommuniti of riders will engage in event activities, celebrating both the sport and the connections that resonate with the motorcycling community.

Mr. Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "Pickleball, like motorcycling, is centered on movement, camaraderie, and community. By supporting the DUPR India Masters, we are providing new opportunities for our Kommuniti to engage with this growing sport. This partnership represents a celebration of the spirit that unites our riders."

This collaboration with pickleball underscores Jawa Yezdi’s commitment to subcultures that encourage new experiences while strengthening community ties. With both riders and athletes coming together to celebrate sport and freedom, the DUPR India Masters is expected to be a significant event for both the brand and India’s developing pickleball scene.

Jawa Yezdi's motorcycle lineup includes the Jawa 350, Jawa 42, 350 Jawa 42 FJ, Jawa 42 Bobber, and Jawa Perak. The Yezdi motorcycle lineup features the Yezdi Roadster, Yezdi Scrambler, and Yezdi Adventure.
