Jawa Yezdi motorcycles partner with Flipkart to boost sales in India
This partnership aims to enhance customer accessibility and ease of purchase for high-end motorcycles across India
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced a collaboration with Flipkart, becoming the first premium mid-cc motorcycle manufacturer to offer its products through the e-commerce platform.
This partnership aims to enhance customer accessibility and ease of purchase for high-end motorcycles across India.
The collaboration is part of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles' digital strategy to expand its reach and improve the customer experience. By leveraging Flipkart's platform, which has over 500 million users, the motorcycle brand will connect with a broader audience, allowing enthusiasts across the country to explore and compare its range of performance-classic bikes online.
Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO of Classic Legends, commented, “Our collaboration with Flipkart marks a significant milestone in the premium motorcycle segment. By bringing Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles to Flipkart’s platform, we’re enhancing the discovery and purchase experience for enthusiasts across India. This partnership allows customers to explore our entire range, compare models, and understand the unique heritage and performance of our bikes, all from the comfort of their homes.”
Flipkart, known for revolutionising the way premium products are purchased online, will utilise its AI-driven recommendation engine and seamless interface to provide potential buyers with the tools to make informed decisions. Jagjeet Harode, Vice President – Electronics at Flipkart, highlighted the platform's ability to offer personalised recommendations and facilitate smooth coordination between online bookings and offline deliveries at Jawa Yezdi dealerships.
This collaboration offers several key benefits to consumers, including improved access to Jawa and Yezdi's premium bikes, financial solutions such as no-cost EMI and Buy Now, Pay Later schemes, and cashback offers. After booking a motorcycle online, customers will complete necessary offline procedures, like registration and insurance, at their nearest dealership.
The partnership is expected to drive visibility and sales, particularly during Flipkart's major events like the Big Billion Day, and will help Jawa Yezdi expand its presence in the premium motorcycle market.
