Interim Budget 2024: What Auto Inc wants
From giving an impetus to electric mobility to EV financing to the extension of the FAME Scheme, here's what Auto Inc. would like to see in the budget.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Interim Budget on 1 February, with the full budget for FY 2024-25 being announced once the new government is formed after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The primary goal of the 2024 interim budget will be to ensure that the government can meet its expenses during the interim period before the country goes to the polls later in March.
From giving an impetus to electric mobility to EV financing to the extension of the FAME Scheme, here's what Auto Inc. would like to see in the budget. Overall, the industry is hopeful that the budget will continue its impetus for electric mobility, despite being a Vote-on-Account budget.
