Industry Leaders Outline Battery and Energy Storage Growth Roadmap Ahead of The Battery Show India 2026

Industry leaders, analysts, and manufacturing companies gathered in Pune on Monday for a roundtable discussion on the evolving electric vehicle, battery manufacturing, and battery energy storage systems ecosystem ahead of The Battery Show India 2026.

The dialogue brought together senior executives from across the value chain. Panelists discussed India's shift from initial electric vehicle adoption to domestic supply chain manufacturing, grid-scale stabilization, line automation, and battery testing capabilities.

Rajneesh Khattar, Senior Group Director at Informa Markets in India, said, "India’s electric mobility market is moving into a phase where the scale of adoption is increasingly shaping the requirements for a stronger domestic battery ecosystem. This momentum makes it increasingly important to build capabilities not just in vehicle manufacturing, but across cells, battery management systems, power electronics, testing, safety, recycling and energy storage."

Organized by Informa Markets in India, the fourth edition of the trade event is scheduled to take place from October 22 to 24 in Greater Noida, alongside the Renewable Energy India Expo and Energy Storage Summit India.
