Indofast Energy and GLIDA Announce Partnership for Building EV Charging Hubs
Collaboration begins with 10 battery swapping stations across Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad with plans for 100 stations over 12 months.
Indofast Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with EV charging infrastructure provider GLIDA to co-locate battery swapping stations at established public charging sites across India.
The initiative launches with 10 Quick Interchange Stations deployed across GLIDA locations in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Over the next 12 months, the two companies aim to expand the network to 50 sites housing more than 100 battery swapping stations. The integrated approach brings high-power charging and battery swapping into single energy hubs serving diverse vehicle categories.
Indofast Energy, GLIDA Leadership on the Partnership
"Our partnership with GLIDA enables us to rapidly expand our Battery-as-a-Service network by leveraging well-connected, power-ready sites that can be quickly activated for battery swapping operations," said Subhash Bhat, Interim CEO of Indofast Energy.
"This partnership with Indofast Energy allows us to display future-ready mobility infrastructure where high-power charging and rapid battery swapping coexist to serve different vehicle categories from a single location," said Deepak Paliwal, Managing Director and CEO of GLIDA.
