The fourth edition of The ADAS Show is scheduled for 3 December 2026 at ADAS Test City, ARAI, Takwe, Pune. The event will bring together representatives from government ministries, automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier-1 suppliers, technology firms, testing organisations, and academic institutions under one roof to discuss the direction of vehicle safety and intelligent mobility in India.

The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), one of India's primary automotive testing and certification bodies, is supporting the event. Dr. Reji Mathai, Director of ARAI, is expected to open the proceedings by addressing the evolving landscape of ADAS, vehicle safety, and intelligent mobility in the country. Senior representatives from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) are also expected to participate, reflecting the regulatory and policy dimensions that increasingly shape the adoption of vehicle safety technologies in India.

ITS India Forum to Lead V2V Communication Session

The ITS India Forum has joined as a strategic partner for this edition and will conduct a dedicated session on Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication. Akhilesh Srivastava, President of the ITS India Forum, will lead the session, which will examine the role of connected vehicles and intelligent transportation systems in improving road safety outcomes and enabling more coordinated mobility infrastructure across Indian roads.

ADAS Show 2026: Conference, Exhibition and Live Demonstrations

The programme will include a conference, a technology exhibition, live ADAS demonstrations, and structured networking sessions. The live demonstrations, conducted at the ADAS Test City facility within the ARAI campus, will allow attendees to observe vehicle safety technologies and driver assistance systems operating in a controlled testing environment — a format that distinguishes the event from a conventional conference setting. The exhibition will feature products and solutions from OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, engineering organisations, component manufacturers, and testing and validation companies.

A session called the Exhibitor March will provide senior executives from automotive OEMs and Tier-1 companies with structured access to exhibitors, offering a format for engaging with emerging technologies beyond the standard exhibition floor dynamic. The conference agenda will address topics including India-specific ADAS development, artificial intelligence in automotive systems, software-defined vehicles, V2V communication, connected mobility, localisation challenges, and testing and validation practices.

Localising ADAS for Indian Road Conditions

The focus on localisation reflects a broader industry conversation about adapting globally developed ADAS technologies to Indian road conditions, which differ from the environments in which many of these systems were originally designed and tested. Factors such as road infrastructure variability, pedestrian density, two-wheeler traffic, and inconsistent lane discipline present distinct challenges for deploying ADAS at scale in the Indian market.

About The ADAS Show and Organiser Aayera

The ADAS Show was established as a dedicated forum for the advanced driver assistance systems and intelligent mobility sector in India. It brings together automotive manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers, and testing bodies on an annual basis. The event is organised by Aayera, which focuses on industry engagement across the automotive and mobility ecosystem through conferences, exhibitions, and technology demonstrations.
