NSRCEL, the startup incubator at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, and Maruti Suzuki India Limited have launched the sixth cohort of their Incubation Program for Mobility Startups.

The cohort brings together early-stage ventures operating at the intersection of mobility, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, manufacturing technologies, and circular economy innovation. Selected startups at the MVP or prototype stage will receive mentorship, industry exposure, and opportunities to collaborate with Maruti Suzuki teams on real-world pilots.

Since the program's launch in 2020, it has engaged more than 140 ventures. Of these, 19 have received paid proof-of-concept opportunities through the Maruti Suzuki partnership. Alumni have collectively raised over ₹1,000 crore in external funding and created more than 2,600 jobs.

The sixth cohort spans focus areas including green manufacturing, mobility infrastructure, vehicle technology, digital transformation, Industry 5.0, and clean technology. Past participants include ValetEZ, Eshipz, Woloo, Defect Scanner, Innovate Labs, and True Assist.

Anand Sri Ganesh, CEO of NSRCEL, noted that the partnership gives founders access to industry insights, opportunities to validate technologies in real-world settings, and pathways to scale their solutions
