iGowise Mobility and Elektrik Express to Deploy 2,000 AI-Enabled Electric Trikes for Urban Deliveries

Phased deployment to begin August 15 across four Indian cities, aiming to improve last-mile logistics efficiency using AI-powered routing, smart telematics, and swappable EV battery technology in underserved urban delivery segments.

Elektrik Express, a company focused on sustainable logistics infrastructure, has partnered with iGowise Mobility, a developer of electric vehicles, to deploy 2,000 AI-integrated BeiGo 2.5-wheeler electric pickup trikes. The phased rollout is set to begin on August 15, 2025, with pilot operations in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. Over the next 18 to 24 months, the deployment will expand to other Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, with plans for future entry into markets across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

The collaboration is anchored by Elektrik Express’s logistics intelligence platform, MicroLogi™, which uses IoT data, predictive analytics, and workflow optimization to enhance fleet performance. The pilot phase will involve selected fleet operations with quick-commerce partners, collecting data on rider usage, route patterns, and delivery efficiency to refine the platform for broader application.

The BeiGo 2.5-wheeler EV trike has been designed to cater to urban delivery demands in the 50 to 150 kg and 100 to 500-litre volume range—segments typically underserved by existing two-wheelers and larger cargo loaders. Key features of the trike include a range of over 100 km, swappable LFP batteries, and 2.5-hour fast charging. Its built-in telematics system integrates with MicroLogi™ for route optimization, fleet health tracking, rider workload balancing, and energy management.

Chintamani Sardesai, Co-founder of Elektrik Express, stated that the project aims to combine electrification with data-driven fleet management to create a more efficient and adaptable urban delivery infrastructure. Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO of iGowise Mobility, emphasized that the vehicle was designed with practical delivery challenges in mind, such as terrain, load handling, charging cycles, and operator profitability.

The initiative will be executed in two phases. The initial pilot phase will evaluate real-world performance through partnerships with quick-commerce platforms. The deployment phase will be facilitated through a Partners Lease Program, enabling logistics operators and fleet partners to adopt the vehicles with limited upfront investment.

Features of the initiative include AI-based route learning, predictive maintenance, centralized fleet control, and integration with third-party delivery APIs. The companies aim to establish a scalable, feedback-driven electric delivery model suited to the needs of Indian cities and other emerging markets.
