IGNYTE debuts at EICMA 2024 with over 36 ECE 22.06/DOT certified models

IGNYTE Helmets, the premium line from Steelbird Helmets, officially entered the European market with an impressive showcase of over 36 new helmet models at EICMA 2024 in Milan.

EICMA, the world’s leading motorcycle trade show, provided IGNYTE the platform to introduce its diverse range of helmets, each certified to ECE 22.06, the European standard for helmet safety. IGNYTE has now become the first Indian helmet brand to achieve both ECE 22.06 and DOT certifications, demonstrating its commitment to upholding global safety and quality standards.

Rajeev Kapur, Managing Director of Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd. said, “Our lineup introduced at EICMA reflects our dedication to safety, quality, and cutting-edge design. Representing India on such a prestigious platform shows that IGNYTE helmets can stand shoulder to shoulder with global brands in terms of innovation and performance.”

A standout at EICMA 2024 was IGNYTE’s AI series, which features models such as the AI 10, AI 14, and AI 16. This series has garnered attention for its sophisticated integration of safety, comfort, and innovative design elements. The helmets in this series utilise an Airlite Fiberglass Shell, renowned for creating some of the lightest helmets on the market, ideal for riders seeking safety without added weight.

Each model in the AI series—certified to the ECE 22.06 standard—includes a multi-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) liner, enhancing impact absorption and providing superior rider protection. Polycarbonate anti-scratch visors ensure clear and durable visibility, while additional features such as dual spoilers improve aerodynamics. Reflective neck elements increase visibility, and interiors branded with Airlite deliver a premium, washable finish for added comfort.

The IGN series, which includes models such as the IGN 12, IGN 16, IGN 20, IGN 27, IGN 30, and IGN 40, was also showcased at EICMA 2024. This series highlights IGNYTE’s commitment to durability, comfort, and cutting-edge design, making it an attractive choice for riders seeking versatile performance. A defining feature of the IGN series is its advanced ventilation technology, a unique innovation designed to maintain optimal airflow, ensuring comfort for riders on longer journeys.

Constructed with high-impact ABS material, each model offers robust protection suited to various riding conditions. The IGN series also integrates multi-layered, high-density EPS for enhanced impact resistance and includes dual certifications (DOT and ISI) on select models. Other features, such as quick-release visor mechanisms, hair-friendly padding, neck protectors, and advanced noise reduction, elevate the IGN series as a premium, functional choice for riders prioritising both comfort and safety.
