Hyundai Motor India’s dry wash service, introduced in 2017 as a water conservation initiative, has proven to be an environmentally responsible solution, saving over 650 million litres of water in the last five years and servicing more than 5.5 million vehicles across the company’s service network in India.

The dry wash service stands as an alternative to traditional water-intensive car washing methods, which typically consume about 120 litres of water per car for a single wash.

Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, commented “Hyundai Motor India remains committed to HMC’s global vision of ‘Progress for Humanity’ by actively fostering a greener and more sustainable future. Through our Dry Wash service initiative, we have conserved over 650 million litres of water, servicing 5.5+ million cars across Hyundai's service network in India over the past 5 years. This much water can suffice the daylong requirement of water for over 4.8 million people.”

Beyond the Dry Wash service, Hyundai Motor India has implemented various eco-friendly initiatives across its dealer and service network. These include the adoption of waterborne paint systems, paperless processes, LED lighting, solarization, and rainwater harvesting, among others, further solidifying the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.

The company also ensures a seamless service experience for its customers through its 360-degree digital and contactless service facilities, offering online booking, vehicle status updates, and home/office pick and drop services.
