Hyundai Motor India Ltd., at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, presented its technologically advanced products, emphasising the theme of "Mobility for All." The Hyundai Motor India Pavilion, located in Hall 6 at Pragati Maidan, not only showcased the company's vision for India but also underscored its enduring commitment to the country.

Beyond manufacturing cars, Hyundai Motor India's commitment extends to India's engineering prowess and growth. Achieving 100% localisation in vital components reflects dedication to the 'Make in India' initiative, emphasising Hyundai's narrative of progress, community development, and relentless pursuit of innovation.

At the Hyundai Motor India Pavilion, a specialised localisation zone exemplified extensive utilisation of parts from Indian manufacturers, showcasing the nation's engineering prowess. The achievement of 100% localisation in key components, such as tires, panoramic sunroof, alloy wheel, and more, was highlighted. The company is actively working towards enhancing the localisation ratio for manufacturing vehicles in India, including critical car components.

A dedicated team has been established to intensify efforts, particularly for high-volume models, aligning with the government's "Make in India" initiative. The zone not only showcased Hyundai's advanced manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur but also featured the R&D facility in Hyderabad, corporate office in Gurugram, and the recently acquired Maharashtra facility.
