Ghosh, who holds the designation of Senior Management Personnel at the South Korean automaker's Indian subsidiary, will cease to be an employee and member of the senior management team at the close of business hours on that date.
The company disclosed the resignation in a regulatory filing to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited on September 22, in compliance with Securities and Exchange Board of India listing regulations that require disclosure of senior management changes.
The filing did not specify the reasons for Ghosh's departure or provide details about succession plans for the national sales leadership position.
Hyundai Motor India, a subsidiary of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Company, operates manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu and maintains its corporate office in Gurugram, Haryana. The company is one of the leading automotive manufacturers in India's passenger vehicle market.
The resignation comes as India's automotive sector continues to navigate evolving market conditions, with companies adjusting their sales strategies amid changing consumer preferences and increased competition in various vehicle segments.
Hyundai Motor India shares trade on Indian stock exchanges under the symbol HYUNDAI on NSE and scrip code 544274 on BSE.
