Hyundai Motor India Foundation Launches Season 5 of ‘Hyundai Art for Hope’

Hyundai Art for Hope, an initiative supporting emerging artists, begins its fifth season with applications opening on May 1, 2025.

Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), has launched the fifth season of its art initiative, ‘Hyundai Art for Hope,’ on World Art Day. Applications will open on May 1, 2025, via the official website. The program will provide financial grants, professional mentorship, and exhibition opportunities to 50 artists and art collectives across India.

Since its inception in 2021, Hyundai Art for Hope has supported 150 artists with INR 1.65 Crore in grants and facilitated skill-building initiatives for over 25,000 artists. The program aims to foster inclusive cultural growth by enabling emerging artists to showcase their work.

Artists can apply across six categories: visual art, digital art, performing arts, traditional arts and culture, functional innovative art and craft, and multidisciplinary projects. Grant allocations include 40 individual grants of INR 1 Lakh each and 10 institutional grants of INR 2 Lakh each for art collectives and institutions.

The program will continue to provide financial assistance and professional support while expanding its impact on diverse artistic disciplines. Hyundai Motor India Foundation reaffirms its commitment to nurturing artistic talent and preserving India’s cultural heritage through this initiative.
