Hyundai Motor India Limited has notified the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited of changes to its senior management personnel, as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015 (SEBI LODR). The filing, dated February 16, 2026, was submitted by Pradeep Chugh, the company's Company Secretary and Compliance Officer.
Madhurendra Malu has been appointed as Vertical Head – Genesis and designated as Senior Management Personnel with effect from February 16, 2026. Simultaneously, Anuraag Singh, who held the position of Vertical Head, has been removed from the company's list of Senior Management Personnel on the same date. The company cited a change in reporting structure as the reason for Singh's exclusion, and no further details regarding his position within the organisation were disclosed.
Malu brings over two decades of experience in the automobile sector, with a career spanning sales, strategy, and network development across multiple manufacturers. His most recent role was at JSW MG Motor India, where he was involved in launching the MG SELECT luxury retail channel, a dedicated sales and ownership experience platform targeting premium car buyers.
Prior to that, he led the expansion of SKODA Auto India's dealer network, contributing to the Czech automaker's efforts to broaden its presence across the country. He also held several leadership roles in sales and strategy during a long tenure at Maruti Suzuki, India's largest passenger vehicle manufacturer by volume. He is a graduate of the Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, one of India's prominent business schools.
The company confirmed that Malu has no relationship with any director on its board, as is required to be disclosed under applicable SEBI regulations at the time of such appointments.
Genesis is the luxury vehicle division of the Hyundai Motor Group, operating as a standalone premium brand with a portfolio that spans sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles. The brand competes in the luxury segment against established names and has been gradually building its presence in select international markets. Malu's appointment to lead the Genesis vertical in India signals the company's intent to formalise and strengthen the brand's positioning in the country's growing premium vehicle segment.
