Hyundai Motor India aids employment opportunities for 403 ITI and polytechnic students across nine states in India
The company offers a skill development program at these institutes and assists students in finding employment within its dealer network.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced job opportunities for 403 students from ITIs and polytechnic institutes across nine Indian states within its dealer network.
The recruitment drive took place in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Telangana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Gujarat. HMIL's initiative aims to provide industry-relevant skill development, exposure to new technologies, on-the-job training, and employment opportunities upon course completion.
Commenting on the graduation day celebration, Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and COO - HMIL, said, “HMIL is committed to India and we take pride in supporting Government of India’s ‘Skill India’ initiative. The recent program ensures that students are trained in the latest technologies and they are ready to contribute from day one of their job. HMIL plans to train more youth across the country, so as to help them earn a respectable livelihood.”
HMIL has partnerships with 76 government ITIs and polytechnic institutes. The company's CSR arm, Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), has invested in these facilities to provide resources, education, and exposure to current technology. HMIL also provides study materials on recent developments in the automotive industry and automobile technology, along with on-the-job training for students.
