Hyundai India elevates Tarun Garg as COO

Tarun Garg as Chief Operating Officer (COO) overseeing Sales, Marketing, Service & Product Strategy, effective from January 01, 2023

Hyundai Motor India, India’s second largest carmaker on Monday elevated Tarun Garg as Chief Operating Officer (COO) overseeing Sales, Marketing, Service and Product Strategy, effective from January 01, 2023. Earlier, Garg was handling the charge of Director of Sales, Marketing and Service.

Additionally, the company has promoted Gopala Krishnan CS as Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) overseeing Production, Quality Management and Supply Chain from the current role of Vice President (Production).

According to Unsoo Kim, MD and CEO - Hyundai Motor India the elevations stand testimony to Hyundai Motor India’s commitment to recognize and appreciate its leadership.

Tarun Garg and Gopala Krishnan CS will continue to serve as Wholetime Directors on the HMIL Board, the company statement said.
