Honda unveils interior and exterior design sketches of third-generation Amaze
The new sketches offer a preview of Honda’s progressive and classy design.
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) revealed the first look of its upcoming third-generation Amaze– the exterior and interior of the compact sedan that is expected to set new standards for design and elegance in this segment, according to the company.
According to HCIL, the "All New 3rd Generation Amaze" is designed to make a strong impression, with a "Progressive and Classy" look. The new sketches show a true sedan form that, while compact, aims to give the impression of a larger and more premium car.
The bold stance and wider frame of the car reflect a sophisticated yet sporty style. Honda’s design concept extends from the front headlights to the rear combination lamps, creating sleek aerodynamic lines that contribute to the sedan’s overall modern and dynamic appearance.

The interior sketch highlights a spacious and refined cabin aimed at enhancing the driver and passenger experience. The design prioritises elegance and a premium feel while ensuring a roomy, comfortable layout. Honda described the cabin as "crafted to enhance the driving experience by boosting status, energy, and confidence," signalling that the new Amaze is built with a sense of prestige in mind.
The development of the third-generation Amaze took place at Honda’s R&D Asia Pacific Centre in Thailand, following extensive market research and surveys in India to understand local preferences. Honda states that the car was specifically engineered to "offer a more delightful sedan experience, enhancing its premium appeal and elevating it to a higher class."
HCIL has promised further updates on the new Amaze leading up to its full reveal. This model, a key part of Honda’s offerings in India since its initial launch, has consistently performed well in the compact sedan segment, known for its blend of style, reliability, and economy. With the upcoming model, Honda aims to reinforce its standing in the segment by presenting an option that combines elegance and sportiness with practicality.
