Honda Two-Wheeler Sales Surge 12% in May 2026

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) recorded a total sales volume of 5,18,777 units in May 2026. This performance marks a 12% year-on-year growth compared to the 4,65,109 units sold during the same period last year. The overall expansion was driven by a substantial increase in shipping volumes overseas alongside steady baseline traction in the domestic market.

The manufacturer's domestic shipments grew by 10%, totaling 4,59,611 units in May 2026 against 4,17,250 units in May 2025. Export volumes experienced a sharper upward trajectory during the same timeframe, climbing 24% to 59,166 units from the 47,859 units recorded in the corresponding month last year.

Retail distribution and localized customer service activities continue to be managed via an established network of more than 7,000 touchpoints across the country.
