Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India’s March sales jump 82% YoY; FY24 volume up 12%
Domestic sales rose 81 percent on year to 3.58 lakh and exports jumped 95 percent to 28,304 units.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India reported 82% on-year growth in its total sales during March on a low base. In the full financial year 2024, the automaker’s total sales rose 12% on year to 48.94 lakh units.
The company despatched a total of 3.86 lakh two-wheelers in March, against 2.12 lakh units in the year-ago period. Domestic sales rose 81% on year to 3.58 lakh and exports jumped 95% to 28,304 units.
Honda Motorcycle is the second largest two-wheeler maker in India. The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 56.21 lakh units during the financial year, up 10% on year.
