Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recorded a 17 percent year on year increase in total sales for April 2026, dispatching 5.63 lakh units during the month. This marks a volume growth compared to the 4.80 lakh units the two wheeler manufacturer sold in April 2025.

The overall growth was supported by steady performance in the domestic market, where sales volumes rose by 14.7 percent to reach 4.84 lakh units against 4.22 lakh units in the corresponding month last year. The company's international business also saw significant expansion, with export shipments increasing by 37.4 percent to 0.796 lakh units in April 2026, up from 0.579 lakh units in the previous year.

Tsutsumu Otani, President and CEO of the company, noted that demand across the two wheeler market remains resilient across various segments. "We will continue to respond with agility to market dynamics while focusing on delivering sustainable and stable growth," Otani stated.
