Honda launches extended warranty program featuring unlimited kilometers for up to 7 Years
Honda Cars India introduces a new extended warranty for petrol models, providing up to seven years of unlimited kilometers coverage, enhancing long-term vehicle protection and boosting resale value for customers.
Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), a manufacturer of premium cars in India, has announced the launch of its Extended Warranty Program, offering unlimited kilometers coverage for up to seven years. This warranty aims to provide customers with long-term coverage, regardless of how much they drive.
The Extended Warranty is available for petrol variants of current models such as the Elevate, City, City e:HEV, and Amaze. It is also available for petrol variants of previous models like the Civic, Jazz, and WR-V if the customer is already enrolled in Honda’s Extended Warranty Program.
This initiative highlights Honda’s focus on providing enhanced technology and ownership experiences for its customers. The warranty is designed to offer maximum value and coverage, making it suitable for both daily commuting and long-distance driving without limitations on kilometers.
Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., stated, "At Honda Cars India, we are dedicated to improving the customer ownership experience. Backed by the durability, quality, and reliability of Honda cars, this Extended Warranty Program offers protection for up to seven years with no restrictions on kilometers, ensuring customers can drive without worry".
Customers can opt for the seven-year unlimited kilometers extended warranty within two years of the car purchase date, with additional options available until the end of the standard warranty period. Existing customers with an extended warranty for four or five years can extend their coverage to seven years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The purchased extended warranty is transferable, adding value during resale.
The key features of the Extended Warranty Program include unlimited kilometers, allowing customers to drive without mileage restrictions, and up to seven years of coverage, protecting against defects in parts under the terms and conditions of the warranty, with no cost for parts or labor. The program also grants access to Honda’s nationwide service network, ensuring maintenance and repairs by certified technicians, and the warranty is transferable, helping to increase the vehicle's resale value.
