Honda Launches City Sport at ₹14.88 Lakh with Sporty Styling and Limited Availability
Offered only in CVT, the City Sport variant brings blacked-out styling, red-accented interiors, and Honda Sensing ADAS. It is available in three colours with a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.4 km/l.
Honda Cars India Ltd. has launched the new City Sport at an introductory price of ₹14,88,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Positioned as a limited-edition offering within the City lineup, this variant is designed with cosmetic and interior enhancements aimed at buyers looking for a sportier design.
The City Sport features exterior enhancements such as a black grille, black trunk lip spoiler, glossy black shark fin antenna, and a Sport emblem. It is also equipped with grey multi-spoke alloy wheels and black outside rear-view mirrors. It is available in three colours: Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Meteoroid Gray Metallic.
Inside, the City Sport comes with an all-black cabin. The seats are upholstered in black leather with red stitching, which is also applied to the door inserts and steering wheel. Other design changes include black roof lining and pillars, a dark red dashboard garnish, and glossy black AC vents. The cabin also features seven-colour ambient lighting.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that complies with E20 fuel standards. The engine delivers 121 PS of power and 145 Nm of torque and is paired with a CVT gearbox that includes paddle shifters. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 18.4 km/l. Safety features include Honda Sensing (ADAS), which offers advanced driver-assist technologies.
Honda Cars India Ltd., established in December 1995, operates from its corporate office in Greater Noida and manufactures vehicles at its facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan. In addition to new car sales, HCIL also manages Honda Auto Terrace, which deals in certified pre-owned cars across India.
