Honda India Group showcases technological advancements at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024

Honda’s group of companies in India, including Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL), and HIPP (Honda India Power Products), is actively participating in the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 from February 1 to 3, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The expo serves as a platform for Honda to exhibit its commitment to innovation and sustainability, featuring cutting-edge technology across its various business segments.

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL)

HCIL is featuring the Honda City e:HEV and the recently launched SUV, Honda Elevate, at the expo. Both models are equipped with Honda's advanced safety technology, "Honda Sensing," which includes features like Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist System.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI)

At the heart of the Honda stall is HMSI’s first flex-fuel powered motorcycle, designed specifically for the Indian market. This eco-friendly solution aligns with the Indian government’s exploration of alternate fuels and showcases HMSI's expertise in flex-fuel technology. The pre-production model utilises "Flex Tech" Technology, allowing riders to experience reduced environmental impact by using a blend of gasoline and ethanol.

Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID)

HEID is showcasing innovative smart mobility solutions at the expo, including Honda Power Pack Exchanger e: and Honda Mobile Power Pack e:. Among the highlights is Honda e: Swap, a battery-sharing technology for electric two and three-wheelers. This groundbreaking solution addresses key challenges faced by EVs, such as limited range and long charging times, by offering efficient and convenient battery swaps. Honda e: Swap is already operational in Bengaluru, with plans to expand across other tier-1 locations in India.

In addition to the battery-sharing service, HEID aims to collaborate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) interested in integrating Honda's advanced battery technology into their vehicles.

Honda's participation in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 highlights its dedication to advancing technology and contributing to a more sustainable and connected future in India.
