Domestic dispatches contracted 15% year-on-year to 4,465 units from 5,303 units in September 2025. Meanwhile, exports dropped 10.85% to 2,490 units against 2,793 units shipped a year earlier.

The manufacturer noted continued demand traction for its sedan portfolio, comprising the compact Amaze and the mid-size City, while preparing to refresh its mid-size sport utility vehicle portfolio to support dealer dispatches through the festive season.
Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India Limited, noted continued demand traction for its Amaze and the Citys, despite the fall in total wholesale numbers. "We are pleased to see positive sales momentum for the Honda City and Honda Amaze during the month."
Behl also added that Honda is preparing to refresh its portfolio with a facelift for the Elevate SUV. "We are also gearing up for the launch of the new Elevate, which will further strengthen our SUV offering with a refreshed and enhanced package."
