Honda Cars India Total Sales Down 30% in February 

Total volumes decline 30% year-on-year to 7,212 units, led by a 66% drop in exports while domestic sales inch up 0.2%.

Honda Cars India Total Sales Down 30% in February 

Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) reported total sales of 7,212 units in February 2026, down 30% compared to 10,323 units in February 2025.

Domestic sales stood at 5,629 units, registering a marginal growth of 0.2% over 5,616 units in the same month last year. Exports declined 66% to 1,583 units from 4,707 units a year ago.

Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, HCIL, said the company maintained sales momentum during the month, supported by demand for the Honda Amaze. He added that the Honda City and Elevate also recorded steady volumes aided by promotional campaigns, and the company remains optimistic heading into the final month of the fiscal year.

Established in December 1995, HCIL has its corporate office in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and operates its manufacturing facility at Tapukara in Alwar district, Rajasthan. The company also runs Honda Auto Terrace, its certified pre-owned car business.
