Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) sold 7,228 units domestically and exported 4,656 units in March 2025, contributing to the company's total sales of 126,151 units for the fiscal year 2024-25.

In comparison, Honda recorded domestic sales of 7,071 units and exports of 6,860 units in March 2024, reflecting a 14.7% decline in overall March sales.

The annual figure represents a slight increase from the previous fiscal year's 124,173 units. While domestic sales reached 65,925 units, exports climbed to 60,226 units, marking a 60% growth and the highest export volume in the company's history.

Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at HCIL, noted that the company's performance aligned with current market conditions. Despite domestic market challenges, strong exports of the Elevate model to Japan boosted overall numbers. Behl added that the recent launch of the All-New Amaze has strengthened Honda's position in the family sedan segment.

HCIL began operations in India in December 1995 and maintains its corporate office in Greater Noida, with manufacturing facilities in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
