Honda Cars India to Invest Rs 450 Crore for Bengaluru Parts Hub Expansion

Honda to increase facility scale to 1,40,000 sq metres to integrate after-sales distribution across cars, two-wheelers, and power products.

Honda Cars India announced on Friday that it has initiated the Phase II expansion of its spare parts warehouse in Bengaluru, committing an investment of Rs 450 crore to scale logistics capacity across Honda Group operations in India.

The Phase II buildout covers approximately 80,000 square metres, expanding the total footprint of the Doddaballapura logistics facility to 1,40,000 square metres. Managed directly by HCIL, the hub services aftermarket supply chains for Honda Cars India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), and Honda India Power Products. Uno Minda Infra LLP has been contracted to develop the second phase of the project. The initial phase, spanning 60,000 square metres, became operational in June 2025.

Takashi Nakajima, President & CEO, Honda Cars India, said, "The Phase II expansion of our Bengaluru warehouse reflects Honda’s continued commitment to strengthening our infrastructure in India. The expanded facility will enable faster availability of genuine spare parts and further strengthen our after-sales support."
